Our data privacy policy is based on both the German Telemedia Act (TMG) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

1 Use of your data

We only collect your personal data if you provide it voluntarily as part of your enrolment for a session or when you open a customer account or when you subscribe to our newsletter. You are aware that we will use your personal data collected as part of the enrolment process for the purpose of processing your order and if necessary in this connection we will pass it on to third parties. Otherwise we will only pass on your personal data if there is a statutory requirement to do so.

Once the contract with you has been implemented in full and you have made full payment, your data will be blocked for further utilisation and will be deleted when the statutory retention periods under tax law and commercial law expire, unless you have explicitly consented to the continued utilisation of your data by opening a customer account or subscribing to our newsletter, etc.

When you subscribe to our newsletter your e-mail address will be used for our own advertising purposes until you unsubscribe the newsletter. You may unsubscribe at any time.

2 Right to information, correction, deletion and blocking of your data

Under Sec. 34 BDSG, we will provide you free of charge upon request with information about the personal data we have stored about you. You also have the right to request us at any time to correct, delete or block your personal data. We will not, however, delete your data until the ordering process has been fully completed. Deletion is subject to the restrictions set by the tax authorities.

3 Use of cookies

Cookies are data files used for identification purposes. We transmit them via your web browser on to your computer’s hard disk and can read the cookies every time you visit our website. We use a pseudonym for these ‘permanent’ cookies to protect your data.
